Franklin D. Roosevelt came into the Presidency during the nation's worst economic time. Roosevelt set up his "New Deal" which started the road to economic recovery. Foreign Affairs and the second World War became the focus of Roosevelt's later years in office. Roosevelt was elected to a Fourth Term as US President though died shortly into his fourth term.
